Student Commitment

Catoctin Studio students are expected to commit to 13 lessons in the fall semester and 17 lessons in the spring semester. This reflects the level of dedication needed to excel in the study of music. Catoctin Studio is not obligated to make-up missed lessons. Students are required to have a trial lesson and interview before beginning regular instruction.

Students will have the option of several payment plans. Students can pay the entire tuition at the beginning of the semester, pay in two or three installments, or pay monthly.

Chamber music, group performances and performance class are not included in the tuition.  Performance class and group rehearsals are $10 per student. Group performances are $20 per student.  Chamber music coachings are charged at the regular hourly rate.

 

The tuition reflects the following hourly rates for 2008.

Violin/Viola Lessons:

30 minute lesson - $25.00
45 minute lesson - $37.50
60 minute lesson - $50.00

Harp Lessons:

30 minute lesson - $40.00
45 minute lesson - $47.50
60 minute lesson - $55.00
